I started writing a novel about tango back in 2020, when the pandemic had taken over the world, and we couldn’t dance tango anymore. My idea was to write something light; I always pitched it as a mix of the series Friends and the tango world.
But throughout the years and thanks to the feedback of my many readers, it became something else, something deeper yet still funny and awkward, a tribute to Argentine tango, to young people putting themselves out there and to the beautiful Edinburgh tango community. Here’s to all of them!
